It is with pleasure that we announce the 3rd Barts Aortovascular Symposium. This will take place in the Great Hall at St Bartholomew’s Hospital in London on the 15th & 16th of September 2018.
We are building on the success of the 2017 meeting which featured and highlighted innovation, education and intervention in the treatment of thoracic and thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysm disease. At Barts Aortovascular Symposium 2018, we will discuss the frontiers of aortovascular disease, aortic research, from genetics and molecular pathophysiology of the aortic wall, through imaging technologies, natural history, monitoring and decision-making to surgical and interventional therapies. We intend to cross-fertilize ideas between basic scientists and clinicians, and consider planning, performance and outcome of interventions in aortovascular disease and surgery.
The 2018 meeting will feature an exceptional national and international faculty, in the field, to discuss and share their thoughts with you. In addition, there is an opportunity to share your experience in an abstract session and operative video session.
We look forward to welcoming you to this exciting annual meeting at the Barts Heart Centre in this great city of London. We hope you will come to London, actively participate in this interactive environment and enjoy your stay.
